subject: Union County Lexus Dealership Could Have Brand New Gs - F By 2013 [print this page] The automotive industry is a rumor millThe automotive industry is a rumor mill. Sometimes youre hearing some things about a potential car, then you find out the manufacturer pulls a full 360 degree turn and goes a completely different direction. Just like Hollywood, were always hearing something new from the tabloid publications, and with the launch of the internet, it seems to have gotten even worse or better, depending on how you look at it. The internet is flooded with rumors, but there are definitely a percentage of rumors that exist because they are true. And theres a new rumor that has gotten Union County Lexus dealers into a frenzy.
Autocar is claiming that the new and much hyped GS-F model could be coming to showrooms as early as 2013. And get this: the new GS-F model is rumored to include the V10 engine that was a part of the LFA supercar. For the GS-F, the V10 engine would put out more than 500 horsepower. Intense, huh? Thats what Mercer County Lexus dealers are saying about the potential new Lexus launch. As one of the most innovative and well-respected luxury brands on the market, I would expect nothing less from Lexus. And thats what makes Union County Lexus dealers better than the competition: their commitment to excellence.
But back to the reports about the GS-F for a second. According to Autocar, Lexus engineers are working on reducing the engines capacity by around 200cc to 4.6 litres and power to 450bhp. The idea is to improve low-range torque, although even with the reduced power output the GS-F will become the most powerful road-going Japanese saloon ever built.
The GS-F will be fitted with Toyotas first torque vectoring differential. Similar to the diff used on BMWs M cars and the likes of the X6 SUV, the torque split unit actively apportions drive between the rear wheels to aid handling. A similar system is also expected to be fitted to the new SC.
As far as Im concerned, more power in a luxury vehicle is never a problem, and I believe Mercer County Lexus dealerships would agree with me. Lexus is truly leading the luxury market in innovation, positioning itself as an early adopter of technologies like the hybrid engine. Fuel efficiency is a great thing to have in a luxury automobile and something that many luxury auto manufacturers seemed to be ignoring until Union County Lexus dealers began selling hybrid models. And, with backing from Lexus parent company Toyota, you know that the technicians fitting Lexus cars with that technology knew exactly what they were doing. After all, Toyota did lead the market in introducing hybrid technology to the consumer.
Regardless, its kind of fun to think that we might have the opportunity to drive some of the core components of a vehicle previously labeled a supercar. I, for one, have my fingers crossed that Mercer County Lexus dealers will get a shot at stocking these new vehicles, but who knows. Keep your eyes open just in case, though.
