There are family disagreements, misunderstandings, and feelings of guilt and regret as the time for intergenerational contact grows shorter. Some older people become useless, senile, complaining. For them the best part of life is not at the end. Its time for us to take a fresh look at aging and how it impacts our families and our churches. No counselor can ignore the unique needs and challenges of the later years. Increasingly we will see older people in our counseling rooms. And believe mebefore you know it, you will be there yourself.
