Even without knowing the definition, many counselors nevertheless are involved in some area of telepsychology. For instance, every time we log on to the Internet for the purpose of researching a topic, consulting with a colleague through e-mail, or downloading information concerning conferences or continuing education, we are involved in telehealth and more specifically, telepsychology. This sidebar summarizes some of the direct benefits for Christian counselors. For me, as a doctoral student, counselor, and pastor, the Internet journey continues. I am committed to using the Internet as a tool to improve my ability to serve. I encourage you to join me on the journey. Jesus words, To whom much has been given, much will be required, encourage us to use our opportunities for him. We can use the technology of the personal computer to make an impact for Christ all around the world!
