subject: Where To Find Ebook Cover Designers [print this page]

Having an ebook has almost become a necessity for all serious bloggers. Writing the ebook is easy, but if you are not a designer yourself, then finding an ebook cover designer can become quite a mission (especially if you want a good one!).

I have written quite a few ebooks personally and tested a lot of different sources for ebook cover designers and I thought it would be helpful for you if I listed some of the different places that you can find great ebook cover designers.

1. Start At Home

If you have experience using editing software such as Photoshop, then there are quite a few tutorials online where you can learn how to design your own ebook cover.

However, if you don't have the time or the talent, then you may have to look elsewhere.

2.Design Communities

There are many large design/internet marketing forums that have online marketplaces. This is a great place to find budding designers looking for work. As always, make sure that you preview his previous work before deciding on a designer.

3.Outsourcing Communities

I am a massive fan of outsourcing communities and recommend them for a lot small, time consuming tasks, but they don't have to just be used for technically orientated tasks. Outsourcing communities are one of the best places to find a lot of fantastic designers (and a really low price!).

However, you will need to dig through a lot of average designers who will submit a proposal for your job - but you can easily do that just by browsing through their portfolios.

4. Hire A Specialist Company

If you search Google, you will find a lot of websites for companies that specialist ebook cover designers. These designers are fantastic at what they do, but be ready to pay a premium price.

If you were to ask for my preference from the above options, I would have to choose 'outsourcing communities', because they have such a large number of designers ready to work for you, and they all bid for your job - which means lower prices.
