If there is one skill you need to become effective at that is writing sales copy. Again there are many names, some call it sales copy, others call it copywriting, some just copy. I go with the short version copy.
Copy is salesmanship in words. That is using words to get a person to do what we want them to do. This could be just entering their information on your capture page to getting them to join your primary business opportunity.
To me this is one skill you need to get effective at to be successful in network marketing. No matter what marketing technique you choose, you will be using copy in someway or another.
You do not need to become a guru in copywriting, you just need to be effective. Anyone can become effective in writing copy, it just may take a little bit of training.
