Afterlife takes Alice and her to Los Angeles where they face her arch-enemy Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts) and come across a group of survivors in a penitentiary that need her help in order to escape.
Also added to the story in Resident Evil: Afterlife is Chris Redfield, a character who has been featured in the Resident Evil video games, and is now being brought to the screen. Redfield is the brother of Claire Redfield (Ali Larter) and will be played by Wentworth Miller of TV's Prison Break.Resident Evil Afterlife is written by SCREEN GEMS and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson.
With the use of James Cameron's 3D Fusion Camera System the movie was shot in Toronto in late 2009 and will be coming to theatres on September 10, 2010.
