subject: Real Estate Marketing: The Power Of Social Media Websites In Turning Prospects Into Clients [print this page]

The present days, social media websites are the driving force for most of the Realtors when it comes to their online business marketing. In what way? Using the Realtor social media it gives you an opportunity to connect with the thousands of prospects in there. It allows you to build a deeper level of relationship that later on will be able to turn into clients.

Frankly, I like social media than with other online marketing tools, on the business level it will give you an edge in terms of connecting with other professionals. I love social media, but not using to the extent of consuming all my time chatting with friends on Facebook while Tweeting about the NBA playoff games that I'm watching.

To name the few social media websites that for me the best are YouTube, Zillow, Twittter, Linkeden, ActiveRain, Localism and Facebook. These are all fantastic websites to use in earning and building relationship with more prospects. Some of these are not really directly dealing with real estate, but still can be used for gaining real estate clients.

Why social media is useful in your real estate business:

Realtor Social media is a search engine ranking booster - social media plays a vital role in your overall search engine optimization. You can do this by linking these social media into your blog or vice versa. Search engine like with google wants to see your blogs, websites, info and profiles blasted all over the internet linking with each other as well as having a links from other popular websites.

All of the prospects are in there - If you're not having an account on these social media websites it's just like missing almost half of the prospects. Majority of the prospects can probably be found in these websites especially with Facebook and Twitter.

If you haven't yet started creating profiles on the websites I mentioned above and more others, then grab your computer keyboards now create an account and let prospects find you and your blog and website. You may not personally go on these sites at all, but many of your prospects do, which is why you need to be there.
