Many people believe that a degree from college is like a magical tool that will allow them to get a job and become rich easy. A bachelor's degree could be the first step for some people who care about working with big corporations.
Of cause,most jobs now require a bachelor's degree but it could not define the value of humanity. Now a day, student learn how to learn and get degree quick. So it doesn't mean that everyone who has a college degree is an intelligent person or higher rang compare to others. How do we define that? the intelligent? the income?
Having a college degree increases the potential of getting a good job with high salary. But if we look around, there are plenty of unemployed college graduates today and surprisingly the unemployment rates decrease at higher levels of education.
College could train a student and get a good job but not always. In the real world, there are lots of richest people who did not graduate from university, they worked successfully and they are definitely not dumb. A friend of mine went to a very expensive school. She never got a good paying job with it, therefore, it was just a financial drain paying back the college loans for 20 years.
Some people who did not graduate from a college or university but get success on business and do not need a college degree but they have lost something. College gives the required knowledge and special skill by expertises about technical ,mechanical, electrical, computer, civil, Accounting, Education, nursing, science, etc. The knowledge that is gained during those classes as well as friendship among friends while spending life in college,money doesn't count. The rich who doesn't have any degree from a college may not need it but people with education and with the right attitude would makes the world livable and pushes new advancement to lead the world to the next era with the right track.
People were born to be someone and do something and that's mean we should do our own part and do our best!
