Since the FTP has recently cracked down on scams on Internet Marketing, you are less liked to be a statistic. There are unfortunately a lot of people that were taken advantage of due to the economic climate. Online predators knew their audience and wanted to take full advantage of the opportunity. Those that did their due diligence, however, were not in that circle. Scams When I was seeking an alternative way to make an income, I was one that did my due diligence. There was way too much talk on the Internet about scams, so I knew there had to be something to it. But I quickly learned that if there is a solid product behind it, it is legit. I also knew that people had to be making great money with so many claims, surely not everyone was lying. Now that I'm an Internet Marketer, I wonder why more people aren't. I have to remind myself of my mentality before I started, which was I was an employee. There is something very comfortable about knowing when you will receive your next paycheck and know at least approximately how much it would be. And as long as you showed up, you knew another paycheck was coming. Now on the flip side of that, the uncomfortable part is if you continued working that same job, you would likely never get a huge increase in salary. You would always have someone controlling you, limited time off, most of your wake hours is working, financial distress, if you're financially set, you generally don't have time. Why Work At A Job? All this said, we continue to do it. Why? Comfort, it is scary to try something new, out of the ordinary. We don't know how we will survive financially if we fail. Or emotionally really. Our mindset is such that most of us will fail because we are not 100% in. The majority of us are not programmed to be entrepreneurs. Our families had jobs and we knew one day we would as well. When I started Internet Marketing, the first thing I had to tackle was my mindset. I knew I didn't want to work at yet another job, but could I really do this? Were their thoughts of plan B? Of course, that's when I decided I had to listen to the ones getting results. They constantly talked about mindset and how if you are not truly committed, you will fail. That was frightening, considering at the time I was about 80% in. I did as they recommended and read the book, The Traveler's Gift, by Andy Andrews. This book goes into how we are programmed and if we want things to change in our life, we have to work on our mindset. There is a lot of life clutter we have to accept and/or get rid of. The whole idea of I can't, its not my fault, anything with not taking responsibility has to go. Its not an easy thing to do, but possible. I decided to, and now I'm working from home, I make as much money as I want because I know what I put in I will get out. There is definitely something to having both time and money in life. It gives you the ability to live a quality life, especially if you have your health. Every day people's health is deteriorated by the amount of undue stress at work. Get rid of it. Start this new decade by empowering yourself. Internet Marketing is the way of the future and if you're willing to do the work and want to succeed, you will.
