The Basics Of Marketing: Autoresponders

We have looked at the marketing funnel and the first step of this, capture pages. Now lets look at the second step. This is autoresponders.

Hi friend, Mole J here. I hope you are having a good day. What we will talk about today is autoresponders.

An autoresponder is just a program that keeps a database of those who have come to your capture pages and entered their information. This is also called a list. The most popular autoresponders are Aweber, Getresponse, Constant Contact, and icontact.

You can set up a series of e-mail that go out automatically after a person signs up through your capture page. This can be more information on marketing or your niche that you are in. You should include some affiliate products in this series of e-mail. If you are unfamiliar with affiliate products, these are products you can sell and receive a commission off of each sale. This will give you some money upfront, even if that person decides not to join your company.

You also have the ability to send broadcasts or newsletters to those on your list. This is a one time e-mail you can send out. This can be anything, a new blog post, a new product you came across that helps you in marketing, a training webinar, or even a important webinar about your company.

The best autoresponder I have seen is Aweber. It does very well with statistics, and very easy to use.

Next up we will look at the list. There is a saying in marketing the money is in the list, is that true? Mmmm, I am not so sure. What do you think?
