We've been changing our entire cookware/bakeware/utensil assortment over to Calphalon. We'd purchased 2 half-sheet jelly roll pans directly from Calphalon's outlet store some months back, and paid a similar for those 2 pans as we have a tendency to did for this set through Amazon.
These pans are serious. extremely serious. we have a tendency to love that - there is nothing worse than taking a pan out of the oven and having it "flex" and dump food, grease, etc. fall off as a result of the food on it weighs quite the pan will handle. you will never have that downside with these.
While most Calphalon product are dishwasher safe, we have a tendency to take the stance that any high-end item like this deserves to be washed and dried by hand with a gentle dish soap. As a result, we've never had a difficulty with any kind of rust or harm to the surfaces of our cookware and bakeware.
One factor i actually like concerning these pans is that they're designed to nest well with one another for storage even with the various shapes and such.
This is an extremely heavy set. I replaced all my lighter bakeware with this set. The old bakeware is going in the garage sale, because this set is easily worth 3 times the price. I'll probably buy another set, as I have 7 grandkids & do lots of cooking. It is Unbelieveable how cakes, muffins & everything just drop out of the pans. I used to use cooking spray & still have to really scrub the pans. You could just wipe these out with a paper towel, because you won't find any pans that are more NON-STICK than these. I was a little afraid to toss them in the dishwasher, because they are so nice. No problem, washing them by hand or tossing them in the dishwasher. GREAT!
