The moment you think of a website you are visualizing a website with at least 5 pages. In most of the site selling in single product I prefer a site with a single page layout that talks about the product in the front page and has a small order now section or button at the end of the product description. If, on the other hand, you have more then one product to sell you are better off with a separate page for products with a menu Product taking visitors to that page.

In other words the number of pages your site will have and the menu items will depend on the type and quantity of information you are presenting to the visitors and their meaningful arrangements.
