subject: Present You Company In The Right Light With Professional Banner Stands [print this page]

If you have ever been to an exhibition or show you will know what impresses you on the various stands as you move around, bright lights, colourful displays, video footage and banner stands.

There are lots of things to consider when you are planning to attend an exhibition or presentation. First impressions can be very important, so making sure that you present your company in the best possible light is essential.

There are many ways that you can do this, but one way is appearance. Creating the correct atmosphere for new clients to walk into can make the difference between making a sale and losing that sale to a competitor. Visual aids can help to keep your potential clients attention, but it needs to be done professionally. Correctly designed banner stands can make the difference between success and failure.

Having banner stands on your plot can help to entice new clients to the stand and make sure that they approach you for details of your services. The banners need to be enticing and teasing and leave the person wanting to know more. If you speak to one of the various companies that produce these products they should be able to help you out with planning, producing and printing your banners in preparation for your event.

Another benefit of having banner stands on your exhibition site is the fact that it can hide the unsightly background of the stand, which is often nothing more than scaffolding, wood and wires. Placing a banner will provide a vital shield between the clients and any potential trips or falls on your stand.

Ultimately it will be down to you to impress the potential clientele with your sales pitch, but don't underestimate the role that props can play in sending out the right message about your company.

In the past when I have been at exhibitions I normal take ten to fifteen minutes to sweep the hall and look around each of the stands, I then decide which stands that I would like to go back and talk with. Obviously when making a business decision you need to evaluate all potential options. However, if I see two companies supplying a commodity that I require and one looks more professional nine times out of ten you will go with the more professional looking company.

The way you act, the way you sell yourself and your company tells other people a lot about the way you do business. If you can't be bothered to design or create a flashy stand then people will be left with the impression that you won't be bothered when working for them either.

So in conclusion, design your banner stand, get it produced and make sure you give a clear and impressive performance, your sales figures depend on it.
