The City of London is a great place to visit, work and live. It is a bustling, fast moving city with many exciting things to do and see.

If you are visiting for the first time, you may get very bewildered and wonder where to start. It is full of attractions, history, architecture, parks, shoppping and theatre areas divided in to different boroughs.

If you want to be centrally located, then I would recommend staying around the Trafalgar Square area although many of the hotels are expensive due to its location.

Whatever your interests, you can be assured that you will find it in London. You could start by going on a London pass tour. These are well organised and offer a wide range of tours depending on what you would like to see. They will also save you money on visiting the key attractions.

The tower of London is a must. This is a historic fortress and prison and it is a spectactular place to visit. If you are interested in the British Monarchy, why not visit the home of the Queen, Buckingham Palace.

The London eye is one of the newest attractions. A giant ferris wheel will allow to see the whole of the city, breathtaking and spectacular once again.

Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Oxford and Regent Street are all within a reasonable walking distance from each other. There is always entertainment, plenty of bars and restaurants and fabulous shops.

The Natural History and Science museums offer the whole family a great day out and is both entertaining and educational.

If you would prefer to chill out, there are plenty of wonderful parks to walk and relax in. These are scattered around London and near to other main attractions. Westminster, Hyde and Holland Park are to name a few. Many have performers, food and drink facilities and plenty of areas to picnic.

Visiting the West End Theatre area is a fabulous experience with many top shows to choose from. Again, these areas are full of restaurants and bars.

If you visit London in the hope of finding part time, temporary or full time employment then you may well be lucky. There are many opportunities in all sectors of business, from office work to retail sales, banking and finance, market trading, waitressing, hotel work and many other seasonal and part time opportunities.
