subject: Interested In Medical Transcription At Home? [print this page] I am a fresh graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing here in the Philippines and I find it hard to look for a job here since there are lots of nurses here already. I've just had my Nurses Licensure Examination here last November 29-30, 2009 and the result will be release on February 2010. I am confident to pass it but even I am, I still had a doubt if I can get a real job. Mostly Filipina Nurses here has no job. Since global crisis is felt by every nation, our country has a difficult in offering jobs to those who are already graduate of universities and with those undergraduate too. There are already hundreds of Registered Nurses (RN) here but they are not working not because they don't want the job, but because they are underpaid and others are still a volunteer nurse just to have an experience for them to have a better job in abroad since one of the requirement in working abroad as a nurse is experience and that's because of scarcity we are facing right now.
Some are just at home, others are found on a Call Centers and some are working as a saleslady at the mall. In short, the work they have is too far from what they have learned in their college days. While surfing the internet for jobs in medical transcription, I've found your website and I got interested in medical transcription at home since I had a background on different Medical Terminologies. Honestly, I don't know how is the work of being a Medical Transcriptionists. All I know is that, it is a job that has something to do with different Medical Terms. And my reason why I got interested is that I don't want to be stocked at home like the others while waiting for a call on my recent job application here in the Philippines. SN:0TG9Y2ESY
I want to maximize my time by having a job from home. And I really love learning new things like being an MT since it's also fit my previous education. I also want to expand my knowledge about different medical terms and I think if I got a job as an MT, it would be a big help to me since I've got no job here. Aside from I can help my sister's education in college and I can also enjoy working at home at the same time while I can spend more time with my family. I don't have to commute to go in an office just to do my job and I am the one who will handle my time. And lastly, since, being an MT, I think has a connection and it is not too far from my previous education. I will not find my job difficult because I am already familiar with other terms. And I don't want to be a Nurse only because I want to work at home too and be able to learn aside from working. For more information, visit www.MTRecruiters.com
