Silent hill Shattered Memories is the most controversial for the series since Silent Hill 4 and it's also the best psychological horror games ever made.
Gameplay and Story
In this game you will play as Harry Mason (the protagonist in SH1), an author who loses his child in a car accident. After that, you will find yourself being asked by an old therapist, Dr.K.
This game consists of two part, in the therapist office and in Silent Hill Town. This feature is very unique and i'm sure you will love it.
Dr.K will ask you several questions such as if you enjoy having sex or if you like drinking alcohol. Even though those question seems pointless, they will affect the characters look and act, and the most important, the ending of the game.
When you are in town, you need to explore the area in order to find your missing daughter.
The story of this game is insane and unpredictable. Everything seems crazy. Nobody knows about you. You feel like you are a stranger in this small town.
Graphics
The graphics is not as good as you can see in Nintendo Wii version, but it is still fine for Playstation 2 Console.
Nightmares
In certain area of the game, you will be trapped in a madness world called "nightmare". Some crazy and fast demons will try to catch you. Unfortunately, you can't fight them. All you have to do is hide and run.
Conclusion
As a Silent Hill fans, you should not miss this game. This game will give you more than what you expect.
