There is a common law that transcends beyond all human spectrums. This law, if adhered to, would create a lasting peace in all global hemispheres. It is a law that is violated on a daily basis. It is a law most people do not pay much attention to. It is a simple law which has the propensity of adverting terrible crimes like homicide, terrorism, robbery, bribing, juvenile delinquencies, and so on. This law simply says: "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." It is that simple! Some call it the "Golden rule."
The golden rule is best interpreted as saying: "Treat others only in ways that you're willing to be treated in the same exact situation." To apply it, you'd imagine yourself in the exact place of the other person on the receiving end of the action. If you act in a given way toward another, and yet are unwilling to be treated that way in the same circumstances, then you violate the rule.
Come to think of it. If everyone on the face of the earth would abide and live by this basic and fundamental principle, the entire globe would be overshadowed with love, peace, and tranquility.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This is a basic principle that would shield you from any sin. Think about it. Every sin committed against your neighbor hinges on this simple premise. When you look at others with disdain and resentment, it is a clear indication that you have lost sight of this basic law. Irrespective of the ethnical, tribal, racial, and cultural background of people, try as much as you can to treat them with the respect they deserve because you also want to be treated with almost respect. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
The common saying that what goes around comes around is always true. As a boss remember that how you treat your subordinates would ultimately be reflective of how your superior and others will treat you either in the short run or long run. Above all, always remember that you are 100% accountable to God. Whatever evil you do to others, be ready to receive a handful of the same. The Bible says, "Be not deceive, God is not mocked whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap." The question is: how have you been treating other people? Your sincere answer to that question could determine where you will spend eternity. God will ultimately judge you based on how you treated others, whether it was good or evil. Remember, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
