There are some things going on in the body that we don't put together until it's a problem. One rarely connect poor diet and hair loss. Then, when we do connect the two we have to ask ourselves "What now?" A lot of people are under more stress than ever before right now. Some are working in companies that are barely hanging on by a thread. Others are trying to figure out how to bring in extra income that is needed because something broke down and there is not extra money to fix it. There are all kinds of things going on right now that increase the stress level of most people. One of the reactions to stress in most people is that they stop eating properly. It becomes very easy to develop the habit of grabbing a quick burger on the way home, skip lunch, fill up on Twinkies or some other food that is not healthy. Then there is the comfort food. Most people will turn to their favorite comfort food when they are experiencing stress. Normally though, the comfort food is also not a healthy alternative. One of the results of a poor diet is that a person will begin to experience hair loss. This will start with the hair getting dull and thin. So most people will change shampoos a few times because they are sure that it is the shampoo that is causing the problem. When the hair starts coming out in the brush in gobs, then we know there is a more serious problem. That is when it is time to review what changes we have made that would cause the hair follicles to start malfunctioning. Eating a proper diet provides the hair follicles with much needed nutrients and vitamins to support healthy hair. A poor diet and hair loss go hand in hand. It is important that even when a person is in a stressful situation that they remember to eat properly to maintain healthy bodies and healthy hair.About the Author:
