The standard of the impairment will be adjusted for the workers future earnings which is a new factor that includes the age when the injury is committed and the occupation. This is to make sure that the final disability rating will be rated accordingly.
The rating ranges from 0 to 100 percent. Ratings from 1-99 percent depends on how partial and how permanent the disability is. Aside from that, each rating has a corresponding weeks of compensation and the rates of compensation depend also form the level of disability workers have.
The proposed system gives increase to compensation to permanent disability especially to serious cases. On the other hand, compensation of not so serious cases will be lower. If the system is already functioning, adjustments to wage loss that are suffered by injured workers will be realized. Thus, proper compensation will be applied to the division of workers comp.
