As always, UFC are planning a brilliant start to the new year, kicking it off with a very anticipated match within mixed martial arts social circles, UFC 125: Resolution. We personally think that the line-up looks great, and while a few "no-namers" are indeed within the pot, it's actually a rather good set-up. UFC 125: Resolution is going to be held at one of UFC's top picks at home in Las Vegas, Nevada the infamous "MGM Grand Garden Arena". Interestingly the seating capacity is actually rather small in comparison to, say, the Quebec Centre where UFC 124: Georges St-Pierre vs Josh Koscheck was held, which could facilitate the seating of more than 80,000 spectators, and just as well as UFC had to release a second batch of tickets as they sold out so quick. Granted UFC 125: Resolution probably won't be as big as UFC 124, but it should be as spectacular, we don't doubt that, not one bit.
In terms of who will win this fight, it's a bit tough, but going by the statistics record, Maynard should have this one. Somehow, the predictions of UFC 124 were closely aligned to a 2/3 that Koscheck would win, and given that he'd already been taken home by St-Pierre once in UFC 74: Respect, we thought that this was absolutely ridiculous glad that we we're proven to be right.
