If we all thought the infamous "jew-hater" was in trouble before for opening his mouth, just listen to the latest Mel Gibson rant or recordings. They seem to confirm allegations by Oksana Grigorieva, Gibson's ex-girlfriend, that the star Lethal Weapon of Braveheart had been physically brutal with her in January of this year when they were still together as a couple. They split up last April but it was not until the end of June that her lawyers acquired a restraining order against Gibson.
The restraining order stated that that Mel Gibson "punched her in the face 'more than once' on that date in January, causing a broken tooth, knocking out a veneer and causing a concussion,'" according to People Magazine. Gibson's sources have rejected Grigorieva's accusations but yesterday, Radaronline.com released part of a recording of seemingly Gibson rant in a fury, admitting not only that he hit her but that she deserved it and even went on threatening her.
On Friday, Radar Online first released parts the Mel Gibson rant on their website in which he was verbally abusive to Grigorieva and once again was racially insulting. After Fridays release the website's Executive VP, David Perel, stated, "We felt it was so newsworthy and so explosive we simply had to report what we heard." It has not been revealed how the tapes were obtained but supposedly they did not come from Grigorieva, who secretly recorded him during his ranting to help her in court as she fights for custody of their 8 month old daughter, Lucia. Gibson and his wife of 28 years, Robyn, who have 7 children together originally filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences on April 13, 2009.
After news broke of the marriage falling apart, there was speculation that Gibson was having an affair with the Russian singer Oksana, although he denied the reports until she announced that she was pregnant with his child. Grigorieva, a Russian singer-songwriter and pianist, gave birth to their daughter Lucia on October 30, 2009. On July 2, before the Gibson rant tapes were publicly released, William Morris Endeavor Entertainment dropped Gibson as a client due to the allegations against him that came out in June. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has also launched a domestic violence investigation against Gibson.
