Charity Casino Night Fun

The idea of a charity casino night is to play casino games while putting money toward a great charity. It's like having a bake sale or doing some other fund raiser, except casino gaming is a lot more fun to most people.

Of course, you can't just have a charity casino night. There's a lot of planning that goes into it. So, you'll need a check list of things. Here are some to get you started.

Read Up:

First up, you'll need to read up on your local laws. Gambling isn't allowed in a lot of areas. Although, it is sometimes allowed for the sake of charity, depending on how it's handled.

For instance, you may not be able to gamble for real money at your event. You can get around that by allowing people to gamble for chances at prizes, though. In fact, you may even be able to get some help with that.

Sponsorship:

You could get some sponsorship from local businesses. They may be able to provide great products or services as prizes. By doing so, they'll support a good cause, increase their reputation and get some relatively free advertising. A lot of your party guests could become their new customers, so it's a great situation for everyone.

Money Source:

Of course, the money for the charity has to come from somewhere. That source is ticket sales. You just have to get people to buy tickets for the event. They can play the games with fake money, but they'll be making an initial contribution to the charity. They can also contribute more than the ticket cost, if they want to.

Organizing The Event:

Organizing the event is, of course, very important. You have to find a venue and book it, for a start. You also have to promote your event. All of that should be done well in advance. That way, you won't have to deal with too many scheduling conflicts amongst your party guests.

Of course, in booking the venue, you need to have an idea of how many people will be attending. So, you should have a set list of invitees or a set number of guests on a first come, first served basis. That way, your guests won't feel cramped.

The Party Plan:

You'll also need a charity casino party plan. Included in that plan should be renting game tables and employing casino dealers for your event. So, you'll need to look into casino table rentals.

Finally, remember that the littlest things can make the biggest differences. So, don't neglect food and drinks, proper lighting and, of course, casino-like party favors, such as chocolate coins or dice. You might even ask your guests to dress up to complete the formal casino feel. It's all up to you. After all, you are the host.
