At the recently held AICC Plenary Session in New Delhi, Congress President Sonia Gandhi remarked that grassroot workers are the vital limbs of the Congress party, as they are having the feel of the pulse of the common mass. Hence, it is important to pay due respect to their views and opinions to make the organization strong, she elaborated.
Her focus on the feedback on the implementation of the flagship programmes of UPA, so that the benefits of the Central schemes reach the targeted beneficiaries, is in many ways to ensure the inclusive development.
On the other hand, terming the grassroot workers as vital links for the party, Congress President Sonia Gandhi has stressed the need to revitalize the party and its organization, from the bottom to the top.
