Do you like to keep everything looking as good as the day you bought it? I thought so! Anyway, here is what I use to keep my floors looking as new as the day we had them installed: The Wagner 905 Steam Cleaner. No, it's not some fancy cleaning solution that costs a bazillion dollars per bottle, it's just the power of concentrated steam.
My introduction to steam cleaners began when I was trying to find a way to clean my white tile floors (every tile had darkish stain). In my quest to make these tiles look new I tried expensive cleaning chemicals (I still get dizzy when I think about those smells), bleach, getting on my hand and knees and scrubbing with wire brushes, etc. Essentialy, I wasted my time. Don't get me wrong, it lightend those stains, but you could still see them.
Well, it was back to the drawing board so to speak. My neighbor Dan suggested that I try a steam cleaner on those stains (basically the entire kitchen floor). Now, whenever I thought of steam cleaners I always pictured one of those big industrial machines that looks like it wouldn't even fit through my front door. The Wagner 905 wasn't anything like that.
Besides being compact and easy to move I suppose I should tell you why I picked this steam cleaner:
4 and 5 star reviews from lots of consumers who actually own the 905.
It was cheap! You get a multipurpose cleaning solution for less than 100 bucks!.
Accessories allow you to clean more than just floors, plus they're included.
I was so excited to try something that may actually clean my kitchen tile.
As soon as the Wagner was at my front door I busted the box open and got busy putting it together right away (I did read the instructions later though). I dumped some water in the tank and let it heat up for about 10 min, then I cleared the kitchen...it was time make everything look new again!.
So, did the Wagner 905 save the day and return my floors to the original white? You bet! It didn't require crazy chemicals either...just super hot steam.
I didn't stop steam cleaning after the kitchen floors were spotless, oh no.... Steam cleaning gets very addicting since it actually produces the results you're looking for, and that's making things look brand-new again!
