After embracing the Christian ways, he worked for a ministry and was hired to be the Pilot and Chauffer for Oral Roberts in the 1960s. He registered at the Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma shortly after. During that time, he became a part of the university's Board of Regents and stayed a member until he was replaced in the year 2008.
