How to Avoid Get Rich Scam

The old adage "if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is" is the best way to avoid a get rich quick scam. If it were so easy to get rich, that you could do it quickly, then everyone would be rich. Furthermore, if someone is promising you the secret to getting rich quickly, and wants to charge you for that secret, you are mostly likely only contributing to their getting rich or richer. People don't typically want to hear that it takes loads of hard work and time in order to get rich. They like to think that if they play their cards right and get lucky that they can get overnight riches and their lives will change instantly.

Schemers know this and they prey on it. They sell the American Dream of a big house, a fancy car, luxury vacations, and time with your family. They talk about how great it is to fire your boss, and work from home for a few hours a day. They put up pictures of themselves standing next to a brand new Mercedes or Ferrari. They'll put up pictures of themselves with their family on exotic vacations. They'll put up screenshots of their earnings showing thousands of dollars a month coming in from multiple sources. They'll claim that they did it all very easily, and in a short amount of time. They'll put testimonials of average looking people and say that these people used the system, and that means that you an too. It's all been tried, tested, and proven successful. That's why it all looks so cookie-cutter and is typically easy to spot.

In order to avoid a scam you'll want to look for these key signs:

Unrealistic promises on earnings. Don't let your head spin with talk of tens of thousands of dollars coming in every month. Look for a reasonable amount of earnings in the first 6 months to a year. After that, look for earnings that sound like they could make sense in the real world.

Short time frame. Getting rich and earning the kind of money that will give you the lifestyle of your dream takes perseverance, hard work, a little bit of luck, and time. Don't get fooled into any system that promises giant returns in under 6 months.

So easy a kid could do it. If this were the case, then everyone would be doing it, and if they aren't they'll soon be doing it and you'll have over-saturation of people competing with you with the same method. Run away from any system that doesn't involve any kind of intensive amount of work or diligence.

Anything resembling a pyramid. If any part of the process relies on more and more people joining in with you, it's probably a thinly disguised pyramid scheme. There's only so many people in the world so don't get involved with any business that relies on recruiting more and more members below you.
