You're going to have to talk about more than your daily schedule and what's for dinner if you want to communicate effectively. Another way that you can know when your marriage is over is when you realize that you've not only stopped being happy, but you've also stopped being happy for your spouse as well. Instead of supporting each other, you might realize that what you're really doing is competing with each other. Unless you can act fast and work these issues through with your partner, you're going down a path that could end your marriage.
