How to use Lumigan
Patient should apply lumigan medication daily at least for two-three weeks in both the eyes.
Remove the contact lenses while using lumigan drops.
It must not be included in combination with other medicine.
Patient could apply this medicine directly into the eyes.
Use the medicine before applying any of the other eyes medicines or ointments.
Do not blink or rub while applying this medicine.
Side effects

There are rare and minor side effect of lumigan eye drops such as:
Eyelashes got even worse
Dermatological effect e.g. Increase in the thickness of eyelashes
Reparatory disorder caused due to cold
Cold-like headaches and eyeball pressure
Feeling of itchiness in the eye and changing of color eye into red
Patient will feel a presence of dust
Continuous flow of tears
Problem caused due to liver disorder
What precautions one should follow?
Patients allergic to bimatoprost (lumigan glaucoma) or other components included in the medicine should not use Lumigan eye drops without the prescription your doctor.
Do not touch the lid of the bottle with bare hands to avoid contamination of the liquid.
While taking this medicine there might appear a dark spot at the surrounding area but you can continue the dosage and consult your doctor.
Be sure to provide full information to the doctor whether you have blurry vision or any problem related to eyes.
It is not advisable to use this medicine during pregnancy though the exact cause is unknown. Hence doctor consultation is must if you are pregnant.
