The town of Port Elliot can be found in Southern Australia within the Fleurieu Peninsula. When it comes to eating you aren't going to be inundated with a variety of exotic cuisine from different corners of the world but instead what you do get are good fresh ingredients making you some quality food. Obviously you should try the seafood as you know it is going to be very fresh.
A lot of the area does deal with the sea and various activities on the water along with the beach but it is not all that does exist. It is a nice area for families who are trying to find a quiet break away from it all and at least you know you are not going to be overrun by surfers and wild parties to all hours of the night.
