subject: Buying Bargain Home Fitness Equipment [print this page]

I've had some experience buying home fitness equipment and I'm here to give you a hand getting the best deal at a bargain price. If I was going to sum this game up in any way, I'd say it's all about research.

I made the decision to get a piece of exercise equipment for my home about 14 months back. I was very excited about getting it but had not bought much stuff online at this point.

I wanted to get some equipment for my home because I didn't want to have to go to the gym anymore. I was getting annoyed about how long the whole process took because it was quite far away.

I started looking online one day after being more frustrated then usual with the gym. I knew that I'd like to get a rowing machine the most out of any fitness equipment so started 'researching' them.

It didn't take me long to find the indoor rower that I wanted. I feel in love with the Concept 2 rowing machine as soon as I had finished reading the reviews and skimming through the features. I didn't wait another second, I bought it at full price right there and then.

A day later I had quit going to the gym and was no longer burdened by expensive monthly payments. A few days after that my rowing machine came and I knew I had made the right choice in model. It ran great!

All my friends really liked my Concept2 as well and Richard even came by every week or so for a workout. In fact, he liked it so much he bought his own a month later. However, he shopped around and did the proper research resulting in him getting one for just a quarter of what I paid!

What I learnt from this, is that you should never just make a snap decision and buy something brand new. Look around and do some solid research to see if you can get the same thing for much less money.
