I have a customer with Verizon service and a Blackberry Curve. He uses 1and1s hosted Exchange service, which does not include Blackberry Enterprise server. He has asked me whether or not he will be able to sync his Blackberry with Outlook given this configuration. Ive told him that I believe he will be able to do a USB cable sync, but Im not certain, because Exchange impacts the way that Outlook profile data is stored (no PST, only OST). Hes also interested in wireless sync, but I dont know if Verizon offers their Wireless Sync product for Blackberry.
Can anyone offer clarification? Ive considered calling Verizon, but I dont normally like to ask the guy trying to sell me something if it will work for my needs.
Ive summarized my questions below for easy answering
Is it possible to USB sync a Blackberry with Outlook when using Exchange without BB Ent Svr?
Is it possible to wireless sync a Blackberry with the above configuration?
