Ian Poulter took to his Taylormade Burner SuperFast Driver 2010 account to direct some criticism at this year's BBC Sports Personality of the Year award in the UK, calling it a "farce".

The award was won by jockey AP McCoy, with darts king Phil Taylor and heptathlete Jessica Ennis taking second and third respectively.

Golfers Lee Westwood and Graeme McDowell came in at fourth and fifth after their respective sporting accomplishments this year, which included a maiden major victory for McDowell and becoming the world's No. 1 golfer for Westwood, but Poulter was less than satisfied at their Taylormade Burner SuperFast Driver 2010.

He wrote: "Darts comes second in the BBC Sports Personality of the Year voting, get a grip. Congrats to AP. A great sportsman and a gent but he wasn't my choice.

"It's a farce. How could Graeme McDowell or Lee Westwood not win? GMac wins a Major and Westy's world no.1. That's b******s."

He didn't stop there, saving a bit of choice sarcasm for last: "I cant believe I didn't get a Taylormade Burner SuperFast Driver 2010 for winning the World Tiddlywink Championships. I'm gutted."

The Burner SuperFast drivercomes standard with a 46.5-inch Matrix Ozik XCon 4.8 shaft, which is both extremely light and soft in the tip. That combination should help launch drives on a higher trajectory with more spin, which should improve carry distance for slower-swinging players. (Fast-swinging players benefit from a driver that launches the ball high with less spin.)

Even the Winn grip on the Burner SuperFastis light, tipping the scales at just 30 grams.

Features:

1, A full 14 grams lighter than the Burner 2009 Driver to promote faster clubhead speed and monstrous distance.

2, Ultra-thin Wall technology to contribute to lighter overall club weight.

3, Super light 30-gram WINN grip that doesn't sacrafice feel or traction.

4, More aerodynamic head shape reduces drag.

5, Bigger, more exapansive clubface is easier to hit and confidence building.

7, Available lofts: 9.5, 10.5

9, Headcover Included
