subject: What Is Your Weather Like? [print this page] Is your weather really nice or are you having some problems? Are you having some bad storms or just a light rain? Are your skies a clear beautiful blue or are you having to deal with cloudy gray skies? This difference can happen even on your street. You might have some rain on one side of the street and the other not get a drop. We have no control on our weather but each year we try. We try to find ways to read these storms only to find that they keep changing. We even have weather stations in space to help track these storms. With all of these in place you would think that we would be able to read this weather better.
The really bad thing with trying to read weather is that the weather can change so fast that even the best readers of weather seem to be wrong. Have you ever found yourself thinking that all weathermen are idiots? We are sure that you have heard your grandparents and even your parents saying something like this. We all feel that they would be better off to just step out of their doors to see what it is doing at this time. This is the way your weather is right now and in another fifteen minutes it could change. They try to tell the weather for the whole state and this is just crazy as it is never the same.
Most of you would be able to read a weather map as you would not be able to understand what this line or that line means but meteorologists will. They have gone to school to read these maps. There are wind currents, ways to tell the moisture in the air or the ground. They can tell about the levels of pollen that are in the air. They will tell you when it is not a good time to burn and then they might tell you when really bad weather is coming. They might be able to really tell when some bad weather is coming. They will post bulletins letting you know when this bad weather is to hit and what areas it might affect.
These people are doing the best with what is available to them and it is up to you to remember this when they try to tell you what they have read. Remember that no one is perfect not even them
