While anxiety is normal, a one who has excessive amounts of it may have what's called an anxiety disorder. Anxiety disorders are broken down in to phobias, panic disorders, generalized anxiety disorders, & obsessive compulsive disorders. Someone who's suffering from a phobia will have an abnormal amount of fear of a specific object or situation. Individuals who've phobias tend to have extensive imaginations, & recognize that their fear is often irrational. Fortunately these conditions can be treated by prescription medication or natural treatments.
