The Old Vicarage Guest House Amblesidehas a range of different room styles and not only that, the bed and breakfast Amblesideis unique in the fact that it has it boasts a swimming pool, hot tub and sauna, along with a guest lounge and extensive terrace which no other Ambleside B&B's can offer.
The Ambleside bed and breakfast has a selection of rooms including, doubles/twin rooms, deluxe four poster room, a junior suite, a Superior room and a Superior Suite. All of these rooms are en-suite and are located over three floors, the ground floor for those less able to manage the stairs, the first and the second floors. The rooms have both traditional and more contemporary styles. All of which are clean, crisp, comfortable and have the facilities that you would expect. The rooms can accommodate two adults and in some cases one or even two children.
There are several double and twin rooms. All doubles have a king sized bed as a minimum. All of these rooms are en-suite and also have televisions with DVD players, CD players and video players, hairdryers, kettle, mini fridges, work desks, controllable central heating, dressing gowns and slippers. Some rooms have free WiFi internet access, as does the communal pubic areas, parking is also free in the onsite car park which few Ambleside B&B's can offer.
The bed and breakfast has three deluxe four poster bedrooms, all of which are en-suite and have all of the facilities as detailed above. There are two Junior Suites, both of which are again en-suite. The sitting rooms in these suites can also be converted to accommodate an extra couple of guests if necessary or the adjoining room can be for children. Both of these rooms have televisions in them.
There are three Superior rooms that have the same facilities as the other rooms with the addition of a walk in shower and a whirlpool bath. These rooms can be converted to family rooms that can accommodate up to two children. There are two Superior Suites which are the largest rooms and can be either double or twins with a small lounge area.
All guests staying at the Old Vicarage Guest House have access to the indoor heated swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. It is these facilities that set the bed and breakfast apart from other Ambleside B&B's and even some Ambleside hotels.
