Marketing for 2011
Marketing for 2011

As we start to come to the end of 2010 many businesses are looking at how succesful the year has been, how fruitful their marketing campaigns have been and have they produced tangible results.

Perhaps looking at making some changes during the coming weeks may be a good thing to do, to review how succesful the various marketing campaigns and activities have been throughout the previous year and if improvements can be made to ensure a better return on investment or whether money can be saved.

Many companies use one marketing agency to oversee all their activities (a marketing consultancy of full service agency) that handle all of the day to day communication with the various disciplines that are invoved (mailings, e-marketing, design etc.) and organising the allocation of the clients marketing budget so that services can be hired. This does have its dangers however as the client is not actually in control of the spend and overpayments may be made to old friends or relatives (which does happen).

By comparing marketing prices and reviewing agencies, you can get different ideas and proposals in place to ensure that you are finding the best agency for the job, but also the best value for money.

By using a local marketing company, you can also ensure that control is maintained, as now we have moved into the internet and cyber eara, the personal touch has become somewhat lost as many companies do rely on e-mail and cyber communication more. Having the relationship with the agency will ensure that the campaign is more succesful, as the agency will be aware that are being watched (in a nice way) and lines of communication do not get blocked or broken with any missunderstandings (that can so often happen with e-mail communication).
