Waxing is no longer something new, especially for those who do not mind a little pain or uneasiness on procedures. Waxing is a method that removes the hair from the roots, and maintains this state for 3 to 6 weeks before growing back. One of the few reasons for hair removal is to fit in the society. As some may say, it is to look good. There are also some who do this for religious or medical reasons.

Apart from hair removal wax, there are some other methods that people may use, all of which available on the market and ready for use. Waxing may be done in salons or homes, and may also be either hot or cold, depending on your preference. It is actually an easy procedure, and is done by spreading the hair removal wax on the area, then, using a strip of cloth, quickly remove the strip with the hair already stuck on the strip. The great thing about waxing is once the hair is pulled, the dead skin cells are also stuck on the cloth. So many people prefer waxing over other methods because of its affordability and ease, with the skin left smooth and hairless, they solve two skin problems with one waxing procedure.

There are some who do not use this method because of the pain and discomfort felt during and after the procedure. At times, it may leave the skin temporarily red and sore, but goes away after a few hours. Hair removal wax should not be used by those with sunburns and sensitive skin. For those who use acne medication, waxing is also discouraged, because their skin is exposed.

For those who want to undergo the hair waxing procedure, your hair needs to be at least 6 millimeters long.
