Everyone sang Leatherman awards and accolades, so I will not do. I will point out some shortcomings, which I think should be corrected. Well, maybe I'm one of the few users to find flaws in this document, but I found it. First, the bottle opener is a joke. I'm serious. Did you ever want to drink a beer in hand, to satisfy your Leatherman, of course, always carry, and came to the conclusion that the "bottle opener" is not working properly? It's not cool if you use pliers to open the beer! Second, this attention to detail something, and scissors, of course, the weakest link of this tool. This is a very thin and completely lose their edge too quickly. If you find yourself using a piece of scissors, it would be extremely disadvantageous position. The project also seems to be difficult. And in the end, but it's not a bug in the quality and finishing tools, stainless steel seems to attract rust faster than any other similar tool that I have ever used. I think that is the use of force majeure, a metal tool, but why not Teflon (or similar) coating is used to "print" tool? It's a pain to walk / fly / travel in wet conditions and wet, and it turns out that when you wake up, Leatherman has surface rust on the go! Hatred only highlight the negatives, but there are many other studies, which include a wave of praise more credit than I do.

These are really well made tools. Can't go wrong owning one. "BUT", I have a couple of ideas (FREE) to LEATHERMAN company. I hope they read this and make some changes to there tool. FIRST I THINK THAT LEATHERMAN DESIGNERS should CAST or ADD a " NAIL " remover on this tool. SOMETHING ABOUT 1 inch. long and curved with a V-cut ( LIKE THE END OF A HAMMER )........at the bottom outside of the main plier grippers handle. This would allow people to use the tool "CLOSED" and pull nails out of the wall ( hanging pictures etc. ). GREAT IDEA. It could even be it's own tool ( replace the stupid file ) in the tool itself. ...THE OTHER CHANGE ( IDEA ), is to keep all the screwdrivers and knife, and add a RACHET HEAD ADDAPTOR in the handle that folds out. ( ABOUT 2 inches long ), this would allow all 1/4 socket heads to be added...so it's like carrying wrenches around...BUT Doesn't ratchet. This RACHET connector could even be put on the tip end of the handle so it is a sturdy part of the handle ( MADE IN THE CAST AS PART OF THE HANDLE ). These would be great changes to your product...HOPE YOU LISTEN "LEATHERMAN COMP. ". From a buyer and FAN.

Excellent Product
I will keep this review short simply because other reviewers have aleady explained all of the product's specifics.
I received a Leatherman Wave from soldiers on a military deployment of my own some three years ago. I was mostly new to multi-tools, although I was currently carrying a gerber multi-tool which was issued to me for deployment.
I don't believe a day went by in which I did not find a use for this Leatherman. It is put together very well and has lasted me through present day. The only wear that concerns me thus far is that my pliers are beginning to slightly misalign. This is no fault of the Leatherman though because it was taken a terribly large amount of abuse, both from myself and all of my acquaintances.
If this Wave breaks I will more than likely pull money out of my pocket to buy another. I basically came here to praise this product because on a daily basis for years it was served me very well. Thank you Leatherman!
