MPO was looking to replace my 130 watt power supply, which burned down, and decided to try to go on the route. Duracell looked good for my laptop (Dell Precision M4400). It is not. Even if you start at the battery, then connect the Duracell and begins approximately 12 to 15 times per minute, about 3-5 minutes. As soon as I get back in the U.S., I'll look for another converter.

I purchased this for an extended trip to power a laptop and charge several USB devices.
It effortlessly (and safely) converts the cigarette lighter into an American standard wall outlet with a USB charger port. It is light-weight, slimline, quiet and would win a beauty contest against its competition.
Compared to the slightly cheaper but much larger and more bulky Cobra inverter I purchased at the same time (Cobra CPI 480 400 Watt 12 Volt DC to 120 Volt AC Power Inverter with 5 Volt USB output) I prefer this one hands down. It performs the same tasks I require but is more appealing because it takes up less space and looks great!

Works As Described
I plugged the Duracell Inverter in my outlet in the car and I am able to charge my cellphone and my GPS via the USB connection at the same time. I think it works perfect. I took it camping over 4 days and kept my cellphone, GPS, and camera fully charged.
There are some reviews where people said it didn't have enough power for some things but they must not have done any research before they purchases the product. Nothing you plug into your car outlet will power anything BIG. You can't blame the product for not doing something it was never meant to do. I think it is perfect and amazingly small - I am 100% happy with my purchase.

Smallest inverter ever!
This inverter is awesome. It is about the size of a deck of cards which makes it the smallest one I have ever used. It has a USB port for charging my phone and an AC port for charging my laptop.
The biggest issue with any inverter is durability and I havent owned this one for long enough to know for sure (I have had 2 other brands burn out). However I have used it about 20 hours so far.
One feature that I didnt think I would use is a cable with clamps to connect directly to a battery, it turns out that when I went camping I tried it out and bought a deep cycle marine battery and the inverter worked flawlessly.
The only thing I would want that this one doesnt have is a DC outlet so when Im using my car DC outlet I could plug another DC based device (GPS) in it. However all our cars have 2 DC outlets so it isnt that big of a deal.

Very handy
Great inverter, and Duracell quality. Will fit in the glovebox. It powers most laptops without any trouble. I use it when traveling or camping. Just don't expect to power a coffee pot or blender. But, for charging cell phones and laptops, it cannot be beat.

Small but mighty
The product is smaller than I thought it would be but it can power my laptop and cellphone. It works great so far except for noticeable noise upon powering on (it might have an internal fan). The on/off button helps instead of pulling the plug and dropping something that might cause an accident when you're driving.

It's a keeper!
This is a great little gadget, exactly what I was looking for. Many times my cell phone runs down or my son's DS dies and I don't have a car charger for them. Instead of spending $20-$30 on car chargers for everything I bought this and I can use the standard charger, works great! I haven't used the USB, but if I had to charge my IPod I could do that as well!
