subject: What To Do When You Have Excessive Facial Sweating [print this page]

There are times when simple situations like facial sweating come about when the heat is too much for you to bear. This is the most ordinary condition that is prevalent in topical countries. Yet the more you perspire on your face for no reason at all, the more it becomes a medical condition that could only be alleviated by proper medication.

First and foremost, Excessive Facial Sweating is a chronic bodily disorder. This means that you will have it for the rest of your life. Just don't get too worried or alarmed since there are treatments for your condition. You cannot ignore it nor use antiperspirant deodorants on your face since it was not designed and created for that.

What you can do to control your excessive facial sweating is to stop applying cream on your face. These facial creams actually help to control the dryness during cold months yet if you use it during the summer, all hell breaks loose. Not only does it feel sticky, you are prone to clogged pores that will result to the build-up of pimples or worse - acne. Should you still experience heavy facial sweating even on cold months, it would be the gauge for you to completely stop the usage of these creams.

The first aid solution for your excessive facial sweating is to consistently bring a small towel or handkerchief for you to swipe off excess sweat. This can be a normal sight to see for most people. This simple gesture diverts questionable stares from the people around you.

For women who suffer this facial sweating, it is a lot easier for them to bring along their loose powder and lightly dust their faces with it. But if you are not one, having to extract a make-up kit from your briefcase would indeed raise some questions regarding your sexuality. Stay away from being stereotyped as part of the third gender if you're not by bringing along talcum powder.

Just head to the washroom and liberally put some on your face so that the talcum would suck all the excess sweat from your face. Just be sure to wash your face so that there will be no excess sweat and oil otherwise, you would look a little cakey.

Before you head to the dermatologist, better ask your family members if they have the same condition as yours. You should take note that excessive sweating could be an inherited condition. Should your parents or other relatives have the same condition then let your dermatologist know as well as your family physician to run certain tests on your thyroid to be sure.

Surgery is not to be thought of right now since there are free treatments for you to follow. Keep yourself dry with the above tips.
