But the 31-year-old has not heard a word from anyone in the England set-up since his cross-channel move despite hitting his straps in recent weeks in the Top 14.
And despite Chris Ashton and Mark Cueto's form over the autumn, Sackey remains determined to seize back his shirt in time for the 2011 RBS 6 Nations.
He said: "They have not been in contact. All I can do is play well but it is disappointing.
"Hopefully I showed them what I am about on Sunday and might have pushed myself back into their thoughts.
"I want to go to the World Cup and if I keep playing well for Toulon then there's no reason why I shouldn't.
"It is down to the coaches whether they get in touch or not but since I got injured playing for
England no one has lifted up the phone and I find that disappointing.
"It was quite hard for me at Toulon at first but I am settled now and enjoying it
"I wanted to go out of my comfort zone and learn about a different style of rugby.
"There's a higher percentage of top quality players in the Top 14 and every team is packed full of international players.
"You never know what the future holds. I don't know what I am going to do next.
"I am enjoying my rugby at the moment and I want to win some trophies with Toulon but after that who knows."
On the other hand Gavin Henson is expecting to be targeted by the Wasps team when he makes his rugby comeback this week - but insists he's more than ready to stand up to that test.
The 28-year-old will make his competitive return to the rugby field on Sunday when he ends his 21-month self-imposed exile by lining up for Saracens at Wembley.
