How To Improve Your Memory - Does Our Memory Respond To What We Do?

We have to understand that our memory is like a computer memory that can be damaged and all the information stored will be lost. There are ways and things needed for maintenance of the brain for it to work better and store information better that we should keep up to for memory improvement:

1. Enough Rest/Sleep: Nature will deal with you if you deprive it of its right. When you rest, you refresh your brain for better understanding. Sleeping helps to relax the nerves in your brain to help you think better and faster.

2. Scientifically, junk foods causes series of low intelligence quotient because, instead of blood o be channeled to the brain, it flows to the elementary canal (digestive system) thereby reducing blood supply to the brain which is useful for better understanding and assimilation. So, avoid excessive intake of heavy food, especially at night.

3. Attention and Concentration: These are very important for a better brain. When you emotionally distracted, it affects you psychologically and results in misapprehension.

4. Avoid excessive alcohol intake; this attacks one's ability to understand. When you are under the influence of alcohol, your brain becomes saturated with thoughts outside learning. Also tobacco (cigarette, marijuana) can attack one's learning ability.

5. Do all you can to eat good and healthy meals with fruits and take sufficient water. Fruits are very good for improving the brain.

6. Exercise is also important for building a good memory. Endeavor to engage yourself in regular exercise of your body to enhance proper flow of blood and regulation of your body temperature.
