subject: This Pretender Stun Gun Ain't Pretendin' Any More [print this page]

You may already know how effective stun guns are and some of the history of these great self defense products. They have a storied past steeped in success stories. They have been used by law enforcement and military personnel for decades with so much success that they have made the transition to civilian use.

Civilians find them very effective too. One of the reasons they have grown so much in the civilian community is because they are usually very small and easy to conceal. Some even are disguised as cell phone stun guns or in this case as a camera cell phone stun gun.

The pretender stun gun you see has only been around for a short while but has grown to be immensely popular. No one standing further than one foot away could possibly tell that this is a nonlethal stun device with 4.5 million volts. It looks exactly like a camera cell phone.

It has a bright LED flashlight and two levels of safety built in. The safety in the on position causes the LED warning light to come on. Batteries are included with this lifetime warranty product.

Stun guns like all other self defense products are only meant to give you time to get away from a dangerous situation and seek help-nothing more. They cause no long lasting damage to an assailant.

They are hand held devices that emit an electrical charge for two or more prongs on one end that basically cause the body to work super fast depleting it of blood sugars needed for energy. This causes the assailant to be unable to do much more than curl up in a ball.

When it comes to self defense products the pretender stun gun is not pretending anymore. When are you getting one?

I always advise that if you feel threatened to hold up your stun gun and warn "back off." Sometimes the sounds and flying sparks of a charging stun gun are enough to scare the bad guys away.

If you think crime can only happen to the other guy you are wrong. The "other guy" is thinking the same thing and to him you are that "other guy". There is a reason why they call it self defense. You have to protect yourself, your family, your home and business!!

Chances are if you are reading this that crime has touched your life in some way or you consider yourself at risk. Take the next step and do something to protect yourself! Your life and safety is worth far more than the cost of home security device.

If you are in the market for a self defense product look for quality, effectiveness, and a biggie-LEGALITY. Stun guns and tasers are not legal in some states. Check with your local police department first before you get one.
