subject: Acn Compensation Plan Exposed [print this page] It's time you learned all you need to know about the acn compensation plan.
If you are going to invest, time, effort and money into building a long term business with ACN, its vital to understand how youre going to be paid.
One of the greatest tragedies in network marketing is the fact that people start a new business based on hype and what the top earners on the videos say they are making. Very few people really make an effort to understand exactly how the compensation plan works.
I dont want you to make that same mistake with the acn compensation plan. After reading this article, youll have a clear understanding of how this compensation plan pays acn reps.
There are really 2 categories of income with ACN.
SHORT TERM
Customer acquisition bonuses, which are 1 time, up front bonus monies that are paid for recruiting new customers into ACN.
LONG TERM
This is where I like to focus. Residual income is what it's really all about. This is the cash you get over and over again for one time efforts.
So lets take a look at each of these bonuses and see how they measure in actual dollars and sense.
CUSTOMER ACQUISITION BONUSES
There are 3 types of CABs. Im going to analyze 2 of them for you.
Personal
When you help a personal sponsor become a Team Trainer you will receive a bonus of $90 to $275, depending on your leadership rank. In order to become a Team Trainer your new partner must enroll for $499 and then recruit their first 6 to 8 customers within a specified amount of time.
Open Line
This bonus can be very lucrative if you build a team that is growing like crazy. The way this bonus works is simple. Every time someone in your personal enrollment tree becomes a Team Trainer, youll earn $60 to $185 (depending on your rank).
This bonus does have a couple caveats.
1) In order to be eligible to receive this bonus, you'll have to have 20 active customers yourself. You also must have helped 2 of them hit the first leadership level with ACN.
2) Any time someone below you reaches or passes your status, they will then collect the open line bonuses on everything below them and you wont get anything.
Some people feel that this causes some conflicting feelings in leaders. Some leaders may want to keep their team from being promoted in order to continue getting bonus money.
Definitely something to consider.
You can make some decent up front money with the ACN CABs if youre good at building leadership and helping people reach their goals quickly.
LONG TERM RESIDUAL INCOME
This is where the ACN comp plan really falls short.
Its really the long term income that entices us to be in network marketing. If we were only concerned about the up front money, wed get a sales job.
I dont think you want to be in sales, do you?
This is why we really want to pay close attention to the residual income portion of the acn compensation plan.
The acn compensation plan is composed of 2 different ways to make residual income.
PERSONAL RESIDUALS
My friend, youre going to have to work your butt off to make any serious money here.
Here's an example.
Depending on how much your personal customers are spending on ACN services each month, you'll get two to eight percent of those monthly bills.
In comparison to other comp plans, this is terribly low!
Its not really the fault of ACN. The fact of the matter is, there is not much markup in telecommunication services, so that just cant pay you that much commission.
I know of one company that pays a $47 monthly residual on each customer you refer. Would you rather make $47 or $1? The choice is pretty clear.
TEAM RESIDUALS
It doesnt get any better with team residuals.
In the acn compensation plan, all your personal sponsors go right under you and theirs go right under them. This continues down for seven generations. This type of plan is known as a unilevel.
One of my friends makes $250,000 per month in a unilevel. To really make good money with these types of plans, you've got to have higher commission payouts though.
Unfortunately, with ACN, you only get 1/4% on levels 2-5, 1% on level 6 and 6% on level 7.
I dont think we even have to do the math to conclude that youll need an unbelievable amount of customers in order to make any substantial residual income based on quarter percentage payouts.
CONCLUSION
The acn compensation plan can be very lucrative for those rare individuals who are able to recruit armies of customers and distributors, but for the average folks, I just dont think they will make much money with this comp plan.
ACN is a good company with good products. They are the largest direct sales telecommunications company in the world and they do business in 20 countries.
ACN is definitely not a scam.
Recruiting thousands and thousands of people so you can make a good income will be hard to do for most ACN reps.
I could be wrong but I think I make some good points, don't you?
There are lots of folks that have made great money with ACN. Howd they do it?
It all happened by finding and enrolling HUGE amounts of people.
You can do it to if you want.
With the leverage of the internet, the little guy can now market to the masses.
