It's been a long battle for me to save up enough money to make a down payment on a house, but I finally accomplished it. It took a lot of sacrifices and self-discipline, but I really feel like it was all worth it. I know that owning a home takes a lot of responsibility and I know that I'm ready for this new stage in my life. It is going to be so much fun to own my own home and be able to decorate it exactly the way I want to.
What I'm really looking for is a ranch-style house that needs a little tlc. My huband is really great at remodeling things, so he is excited to find the perfect house as well. I love ranch style houses because they have a much more open floor plan than other houses. They also tend to have more character than other homes do. It's not hard to find ranches around our part of town. Almost everyone has one and they are all pretty old houses.
We are looking for homes in a few different places. If we can't find the perfect home, we are going to looking into gettin our own house built. Just in case that happens we have been resesearching kentucky home builders, cincinnati home builders, and indianapolis home builders. There are a lot of great companies out there who are giving good deals right now. We just have to find the right one that builds the unique kind of house we are looking for. We can't wait to find the perfect house!
