You say the first that comes to mind, without a recheck of any kind,
You interrupt the thoughts to steer, the conversation you caught with half ear.
You talk without thinking giving an empty thought , Instead! Think without talking, knowledge be sought.
You bicker and nitpick sounding like chicken, you pick and you peck giving tongue licken.
When your hurting your voice becomes mean, and you utter words that are not very clean.
Don't tell me the obvious, it need not be said, keep quiet or helpful with actions instead.
An idea may come, Think is it the time, to say ,to speak , is the moment just prime.
I'm tired and weary, and I've had enough, I can't listen all day to all of this stuff.
Thus is suffice to say, HEY! Look this way, but be sure before going, a thought to what's blowing, may make your day.

Not that everyone will get this, but hopefully most of us see it and know someone exactly like that. Maybe this little comical verse can be seen and maybe even do some good. There is something there for all of us and when speaking, or as in many things, timing is everything. Waiting for that right moment to get the point across. Sometimes even waiting for a certain situation can be the case. Knowing when not to speak is an art. How well do you listen and how often do you interupt without any real reason to.
