It's only logical that if you're planning on building a long term business, you should know how the ACN is going to compensate you for your efforts.
I continue to be shocked at how many people jump into business projects without understanding the pay plan.
Please do not be guilty of doing that with the acn compensation plan.
There are really 2 categories of income with ACN.
SHORT TERM
This is the bonus money that you'll earn for enrolling customers and helping others do the same.
LONG TERM
This is where I like to focus. Residual income is what it's really all about. This is the cash you get over and over again for one time efforts.
So what do these to categories look like in a little more detail?
CUSTOMER ACQUISITION BONUSES
There are 3 types of CABs. Im going to analyze 2 of them for you.
Personal
When you help a personal sponsor become a Team Trainer you will receive a bonus of $90 to $275, depending on your leadership rank. In order to become a Team Trainer your new partner must enroll for $499 and then recruit their first 6 to 8 customers within a specified amount of time.
Open Line
This bonus can be very lucrative if you build a team that is growing like crazy. The way this bonus works is simple. Every time someone in your personal enrollment tree becomes a Team Trainer, youll earn $60 to $185 (depending on your rank).
A few things you need to be aware of here.
1) In order to be eligible to receive this bonus, you'll have to have 20 active customers yourself. You also must have helped 2 of them hit the first leadership level with ACN.
2) If rep between you and the new team trainer advances to (or passes) your current rank, you'll lose all the bonuses below that.
Some people feel that this causes some conflicting feelings in leaders. Some leaders may want to keep their team from being promoted in order to continue getting bonus money.
Just something to think about.
You can make some decent up front money with the ACN CABs if youre good at building leadership and helping people reach their goals quickly.
LONG TERM RESIDUAL INCOME
This is where the ACN comp plan really falls short.
Its really the long term income that entices us to be in network marketing. If we were only concerned about the up front money, wed get a sales job.
Forget having a sales job! I want residuals!
This is why we really want to pay close attention to the residual income portion of the acn compensation plan.
There are two aspects to the passive money portion of the acn compensation plan.
PERSONAL RESIDUALS
Odds are, you're not gonna make much moula here.
Let me show you what I mean.
ACN pays anywhere from 2% 8% of your customers total monthly bills. The percentage you get on your personal customers is based on the total dollar amount spent on acn services by your personal customers.
It just doesn't amount to very much when you compare this percentage to what other companies are paying!
The sad truth is there just isn't much margin in these kinds of services. This means there's not a lot of room for paying out big residual commissions.
I ran across a company last week that pays almost $50 for every personally enrolled customer. $1 or $50? I'm gonna go with the higher commission myself.
TEAM RESIDUALS
It's the same sad scenarios with your group commissions.
In the acn compensation plan, all your personal sponsors go right under you and theirs go right under them. This continues down for seven generations. This type of plan is known as a unilevel.
These can be very lucrative if the commissions are high.
In ACN, you're looking at one quarter of 1 percent commission on the vast majority of your organization. Wow! That's just not very much money.
I dont think we even have to do the math to conclude that youll need an unbelievable amount of customers in order to make any substantial residual income based on quarter percentage payouts.
CONCLUSION
You can make big money with the acn compensation plan. There are some incredibly wealthy people in this company. I just don't think the average person is going to be able to recruit the numbers needed to make a substantial amount.
ACN does have good products and really, they have a great reputation in the industry.
ACN is definitely not a scam.
Recruiting thousands and thousands of people so you can make a good income will be hard to do for most ACN reps.
I could be wrong but I think I make some good points, don't you?
There are lots of folks that have made great money with ACN. Howd they do it?
The did it by connecting with and recruiting MASS numbers of customers and business builders.
You can do it to if you want.
With the leverage of the internet, the little guy can now market to the masses.
