Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 12x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom

The ZS7 is incredibly cheap immediately. For the worth I brought it for, you cannot get something higher. are you able to get a decent camcorder for underneath three hundred that records HD? No, unless you get a Flip with no optical zoom. are you able to get a camera that takes higher pictures? No, unless you get a Fuji F200EXR or scour the marketplace for used deals. But then, the F200EXR's video is not nearly nearly as good because the ZS7's 720p output with stereo sound.

I tested this camera at ISO 1600, and it absolutely was utterly usable with noise reduction set to -2. There was luminance noise, however nearly no chroma noise, and detail was fairly well retained considering the constraints of atiny low sensor camera. Looked smart even at 100 percent.

The colors are particular too. i believed that no camera would be able to match my Kodak DX7590's heat output. I heard stories regarding how Panasonic color was wacky and every one that. Nope, not with the ZS7. the colour is great - heat, balanced, not unnatural.

Detail is nice too with the sharp, contrasty lens. I cannot say enough good items regarding this camera. The video mode is great too. on the subject of everyhting with this camera is nice, even image quality, as long as you set noise reduction to -2 if you do not like smeared details. -2 can scale back the quantity of noise reduction, creating the photographs nosier, but detail is healthier retained. It's all up to you, mess around with the noise reduction to search out your balance of a sleek trying image with the quantity of detail retained.
