subject: Herblife? Boom Shacka Lacka. [print this page]

Lets get this out of the way right nowLets get this out of the way right now. Herblife is a legitimate company with good products and a great history in the market place.

So whats the big deal? What is the URGENT WARNING that Im so intent on getting to you as a current or potential herbalife distributor?

Here it is.

If you are going to invest time, effort and heart building an herblife business thats supposed to last you a lifetime wouldnt you want to know if there was a chance that all that could be taken from you down the road?

THE PROBLEM Freedom Isnt Free

You may have heard the phrase absolute power, corrupts absolutely. Well just what does that mean? It means that when human beings get into positions of power, they tend to lose sight of right/wrong.

Lets get this straight, Im not accusing Herblife of being in this state but sometime down the road that's a very real possibility.

Let me tell you a story.

A few months ago, I enrolled as a customer into a large, well established health and wellness company to help out a friend. I had no intention of building a business.

After a few months of orders, I canceled. I only enrolled to help my friend qualify for her quota.

I didn't think much about it. Just went on with my normal life.

Listen to this. Last week I got a warning from that company's policy/admin department telling me that they had heard that I'd been sending out some friend requests on a social networking site. They said that some of those invitations may have been extended to some of their customers.

The letter stated that pursuant to the agreement that I had signed, I was prohibited from doing business, any type of business with anyone associated with that company for a period of 12 months.

Now let me ask you this. Let's say I enrolled my sister into that company. Per their policy, if I did that, I couldn't talk to my sister about any other type of business while we were both customers. Even if the business had nothing to do with network marketing.

That's the most rediculous thing I've ever heard.

The point I want to make to you is this. If you invest time, talents and effort building a network marketing business...

You do not own your business. The company owns your business.

For the entire course of your career with this company, you will be subject to their policies, procedures and whims.

If they want you out, they can shut you down and kick you out just like that.

And there wont be much you can do about it even if you are in the right because they have more money to fight in court than you have.

THE SOLUTION

Now, network marketing is truly a great business model and can generate life changing financial freedom.

As distributors, we need to be aware of the potential dangers and guard against them. Who knows what herblife will do down the road.

Are you ready to own your business instead of having Herbalife own all your hard work and dedication?

Before you introduce people to herblife, it would be smart to draw those people to you as business owner first.

Doing it this way will help you to maintain your contact list as yours, rather than letting it be taken over and become the property of herblife.

In addition to protecting you from potential corruption and disaster down the road, youll make more money, recruit higher quality partners and keep your freedom.
