subject: The Role Of A Mentor In Your Internet Or Home-based Business Success [print this page]

The role of a Professional Mentor to assist you in starting up and developing

your Internet or Home-Based business is crucial for your success.

Many of us try to go it alone, only to find out months later that we have overspent

precious working capital on non-essential items, made a few "newbie" mistakes,

and just didn't understand from square one the right and correct actions to take.

If you have a Mentor, all of that will not occur---and you'll proceed with

purpose, defined intent, and do it the right way so that th income follows in short order.

Locating the "right" Mentor, however is tough.

Some of the best Mentors are booked up, some are hard to locate.

Then, there are the "pretend" Mentors---those who claim to be able to teach

you everything you need to know, but in actuality are just beginners themselves

and have little success record of their own.

Look at any Social networking site---everybody's an expert.

But, who is the "right" sort of mentor for you?

The "right" mentor for you will have a certain set of qualities:

the Mentor will have been established online for more than a year,

will have expertise in more than one area of Internet Marketing,

will have some sort of academic background that is applicable to online business,

should have prior teaching/coaching/instructing experience,

will have a strict set of training disciplines that can be followed,

will make your learning and training affordable,

will be 100% supportive and offer personal, one-on-one consultations to

assist you in your development,

will offer his/her personal email address, Skype address, or other means for you to contact them as you need,

will not have a training program that is set up to sell you item after items after item as part of your training.

What was just described just disqualified about 90% of the available Mentors out there.

Great Mentors are available, just peruse those qualifications---the "right" Mentor for you will have those great traits and will be happy to help you.
